Help us preserve Hollis history for future generations
Volunteer Opportunities
Whatever your interests or skills, there's a place for you at the Society.
The Hollis Historical Society is run almost entirely by volunteers, and we welcome new faces. Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn about Hollis history, meet people who share your interests, and contribute to preserving our town's heritage.
Ways to Help
- Museum Docents — Welcome visitors at the Wheeler House on Mondays or at the Engine House on first Sundays during the open-house season.
- Event Support — Help organize and run our Annual Meeting, the Attic Treasures Sale, and other community events.
- Research & Archives — Catalog photographs, transcribe documents, or assist with genealogy research requests.
- Buildings & Grounds — Help maintain our four historic buildings and the Lucie Beebe Memorial Garden.
- Communications — Contribute to our newsletter, manage social media, or help update the website.
- Programs — Suggest topics, line up speakers, or help host our public programs.
